Phoenixolar Delivers 100MW Fully Automatic Perovskite Inkjet Printing Equipment to Leading Crystalline Silicon Cell Enterprise

Phoenixolar has completed the delivery of two sets of independently developed 100MW fully automatic perovskite inkjet printing equipment, which have been sent to a leading crystalline silicon cell producer in China’s photovoltaic industry.

The delivered equipment stands as China’s first 100MW-class inkjet printing equipment for perovskite/silicon tandem cells, and also the world’s first mass-production-grade perovskite inkjet printing solution for industrial use. It overcomes the core shortcomings of traditional slot-die coating technology, including low production speed and insufficient large-area film coverage, filling the technical gap in industrial mass-production equipment and breaking the scale-up bottleneck for tandem solar cells.

Targeted at large-area perovskite/silicon tandem cell film preparation via inkjet printing, the equipment is equipped with visual recognition and positioning systems to realize fully automatic operation and high-precision full-area film coverage. It boasts three core strengths: high precision, high throughput and high compatibility, which optimize film preparation quality, improve photoelectric conversion efficiency of tandem cells, and solve common industrial problems in large-area film uniformity and accuracy.


Perovskite/silicon tandem cells represent the next-generation high-efficiency core technology of the photovoltaic industry. The successful delivery of this mass-production equipment not only strengthens the domestic R&D strength in high-end photovoltaic equipment, but also provides key support for the large-scale industrialization of high-efficiency tandem cells, accelerating the transition of next-gen photovoltaic technology from R&D to full mass production and driving overall industrial upgrading.
